This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to life and limb of the petitioner as well as his family members and further to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct an enquiry based on my representation dated 13.05.2026 and vide CSR Receipt No.39 of 2026 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had sent a representation seeking action against the third respondent, who is an Engineer. The petitioner has entered into an agreement with the third respondent for construction of his house. Due to misunderstanding between the petitioner and the third respondent, the construction work was stopped without completion. The third respondent has started to threaten the petitioner, seeking money. Therefore, the petitioner has given a complaint before the second 2/4

respondent. However, no proper action was taken, and therefore, this petition is filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the third respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.
