ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondent to pay the pending amount of Rs.5,78,684/-(Five Lakhs SeventyEight Thousand and Six Hundred and Eighty-Four only) along with interest of 18% per annum for delayed payment, calculated from the date of invoice to the petitioners Society for supply of Bill Books, Minute Book, Stationary and Tax Notice by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.12.2024 and 01.02.2025.
2. The petitioner appears to have supplied bill books, minute books, stationery books and tax notices to the respondent Municipality Corporation.
3. It is submitted that the respondent is in arrears of Rs.5,78,684/- and despite the petitioner submitted a representation on 07.12.2024 followed by a 2/4
reminder on 01.02.2025, no orders have been passed for sanctioning the balance amount.
4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the aforesaid representations of the petitioner will be considered and disposed of on merits, if it has not already been considered.
5. Recording the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations, dated 07.12.2024 and 01.02.2025 , if not already considered, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
