... Respondent PRAYER: Writ Appeal filed under Clause 15 of Letters Patent Act, against the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.19847 of 2023, dated 06.12.2023.

JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.K.Sankar, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent. 2.Admittedly the School in question is a Standalone Minority Institution and that the Teacher whose appointment was sought to be approved, was appointed on 01.03.2023, in a sanctioned post which was rendered surplus in the staff fixation done for the year 2022- 2023. However considering the fact that the staff fixation was altered in the subsequent year, that is, academic year 2023-2024 and the strength of the Secondary Grade Teacher was fixed as 4, the Writ Court has directed approval of appointment with effect from 01.03.2023. 3.We therefore, see no reason to interfere with the said order, since the issue is squarely covered by earlier pronouncements of this Court. The Writ Appeal fails and it is accordingly, dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
