Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 and 2 to measure and demarcate petitioner's properties in Survey No.538/1, 538/2, 538/3, and 539, measuring 4 acre 91 cents, situated at Ilanthaikulam Village, Watrap Taluk, Viruthunagar District, and also direct to give adequate

police protection by the 3rd respondent during the survey and fencing, by considering petitioner's representation, dated 07.06.2025. For Petitioner :

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the property situated in Survey No.538/1, 538/2, 538/3, and 539, measuring 4 acre 91 cents, at Ilanthaikulam Village, Watrap Taluk, Viruthunagar District, by considering her application, dated 07.06.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, she purchased the subject property along with two others under a registered sale deed, dated 21.02.2000. Subsequently, patta was issued in the name of petitioner and two others in Patta No.2561. As a co-owner, the petitioner submitted an application before the respondents in application No.2025/0123/26/008487, dated 07.06.2025, seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence, she has come before this Court.

3. Government Advocate, appearing for Respondents No.1 and 2, would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 07.06.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to petitioner, co-pattadars, neighbouring land owners, and other interested parties.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. 04.07.2025 NCC :
