Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to conduct survey and demarcate my landed property and to provide police protection in comprised in survey No.1298/1D for an extent of 3 acre 16 cents and survey No.1298/3 for an extend of 2acre 92 cents relating to the petitioners landed property situated at Aalampaadi Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District by considering petitioner's representation dated on 05.06.2026.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to conduct survey and demarcate my landed property and to provide police protection in comprised in survey No.1298/1D for an extent of 3 acre 16 cents and survey No.1298/3 for an extend of 2acre 92 cents relating to the petitioners landed property situated at Aalampaadi Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District by considering petitioner's representation dated on 05.06.2026. 2.The petitioner is claiming right over the property situated in in survey No.1298/1D to an extent of 3 acres 16 cents which is an ancestral property and the s survey No. 1298/3 to an extent of 2 acres 92 cents which was purchased by the petitioner. The said ancestral property was settled in favor of the petitioner by the petitioner's father in settlement deed dated 03/07/1995. The respondents 3 to 6 are the adjacent land owners who is disputing the petitioner's boundaries. Therefore, the petitioner is seeking to survey the land.

3.The Tahsildar is directed to survey the land by considering the online application submitted by the petitioner and the petitioner has also remitted the requisite fees. 4.Therefore, the Tahsildar is directed to survey the property after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 3 to 6. If the Tahsildar is seeking for police

protection, the second respondent shall provide police protection. The official respondents shall adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures: • The official respondents shall issue notice to the petitioner immediately reaching the spot where survey is to be conducted. The petitioner shall affix the signature by receiving the notice of survey.

• After survey again the petitioner shall affix signature indicating that the survey was conducted to their satisfaction.

• If the petitioner is not satisfied, then also the petitioner shall affix signature indicating their dissatisfaction or with protest. The petitioner shall indicate that reason of their dissatisfaction or protest.

The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by the parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
