PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.3 to release the marriage assistance fund, under the Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 18.09.2020 within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to release the marriage assistance fund under the Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 18.09.2020.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the representation made by the petitioner has already been considered by the third respondent and that the third respondent will convey

the decision taken to the petitioner within the time frame fixed by this Court.

3. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to convey the decision taken by the third respondent on the representation made by the petitioner on 18.09.2020 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
