Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for R1 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for R2 & R3.

2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.

3. The writ petitioner is the vice president of Kannakattai panchayat. It comprises six ward members.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader would state that three members are supporting the writ petitioner. It is stated that the first respondent proposes to appoint an enquiry officer to go into the petitioner's complaint and take further action in accordance with law.

5. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
