The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is the wife of the the petitioner's husband's brother and alleges that her husband is working as a conductor and the mother-in-law of the defacto complainant wanted to drive her out of the family, by harassing her that she has not brought any sridhanas from her parents home. They have also claimed that the defacto complainant and her husband does not have any right over the disputed house. It was alleged that the petitioner and her husband said to have abused the defacto complainant. Therefore, a case in CC No.112 of 2025, on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court , Orathanadu, Thanjavur has been registered for the offence under Sections 294(b), 498A, 448, 323 and 506(i) IPC as against the petitioner.
To quash the above proceedings the petitioner has filed this petition. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact, there is a property dispute between the petitioner's husband and the defacto complainant's husband, who are brothers. He further submits that the petitioner is residing at Singapore along with her family.

4.Issue notice to the second respondent returnable in three weeks. Private notice is also permitted. Post the matter after three weeks. 5.The personal appearance of the petitioner before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Orathanadu, Thanjavur District in CC No.112 of 2025 is dispensed with for the present.
