ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter and to set her at liberty.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that his daughter has been illegally detained by the fourth respondent and in spite of the complaint given to the third respondent, no steps were taken in spite of registering a girl missing FIR in Crime No.10 of 2026. It is under these circumstances, the present petition came to be filed before this Court.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the State of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) on instructions submitted that the detenue had a relationship with the fourth respondent and both of them had eloped. A complaint was also given before the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Vadamadurai. Enquiry was conducted and the petitioner himself gave in writing that he will not interfere with the life of his daughter. Relevant records were also placed before this Court.

5. In the light of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this petition and accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
