ORDER

The petitioner / wife seeks transfer of the petition for divorce filed by the respondent / husband in HMOP.No. 200 of 2020 on the file of the Family Court, Thanjavur.

2. It is admitted case of the parties that the husband is working as Sub Inspector of Police at Chennai and the wife is a practising Advocate at Karur.

3. Considering the above, I am of the considered opinion that HMOP could be transferred to the Sub Court, Kulithalai, which is more nearer to Karur than Thanjavur.

4. The inconvenience caused to the husband by transferring the case to the Family Court, where the presence of the parties for every hearing is required would also be avoided.

5. In the light of the above, proceedings in HMOP.No.200 of 2020 on the file of the Family Court, Thanjavur is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Sub Court, Kulithalai, for disposal in accordance with law. The Family Court, Thanjavur is directed to transmit the papers to the Sub Court, Kulithalai forthwith.
