Sec. School Nagercoil.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner's son, by name, Pavetran, aged about 16 years, is involved in Crime No.9 of 2016, on the file of the second respondent Police, and was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, Nagercoil, on 04.03.2016, and now he is lodged in the Observation Home at Melapalayam, Tirunelveli District.

2. It is the contention of the petitioner that her son should have taken up the +1 Examination that is being conducted by the School during this month. Therefore, the petitioner is seeking a direction to the first respondent to permit her son to attend the examination.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. This Court is of the considered view that it would be in the fitness of things that if the petitioner makes a representation before the first respondent in time, the first respondent will pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation by ensuring that the petitioner's son does not miss the examination. The first respondent shall also take into consideration the safety of the juvenile while passing such orders.

5. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
