ORDER

(This writ petition is heard through video conference) This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to expedite the proceedings in O.A.Nos.16/2016 and 18/2016, within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.S.Sivakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.K.P.Narayana Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.G.Mathavan, learned Standing Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the third respondent.

3.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.The petitioner has filed the above referred Original Applications, seeking for declaration as a hereditary poosari at the temples namely Arulmigu Mavayal Kattu Ayyanar Temple and its Sub Temples namely Arulmigu Karuppasamy Temple, Arulmigu Adaikalam Temple, Arulmigu Udaiyandi Temple. The O.As. are pending on the file of second respondent.

5.The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the respondents require a minimum period of four months for disposal of the aforementioned O.As. filed by the petitioner.

6.After recording the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court directs the second respondent to dispose of O.A.Nos.16/2016 & 18/2016 filed by the petitioner, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
