Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.02.2024 and permit for a one time settlement of the principal amount of Rs.1,30,000/- and thereby close the Loan Account in Loan No.SL490 within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The case of the petitioner is that even though she was sanctioned loan for a larger amount, she was given only a part of the same and that the balance amount was swindled by the concerned co-operative secretary. Now the petitioner wants to give a quietus to the issue by entering into One Time Settlement. She has given a representation in this regard.

3. The second respondent is directed to take into account all the factors projected by the petitioner and dispose of her request on merits and in accordance with law. An appropriate order shall be passed by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
