[Order of the Court was made by N.ANAND VENKATESH, J.] When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the State of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) produced the proceedings of the Jail Superintendent, Trichirappalli, dated 15.06.2026, rejecting the request made by the petitioner seeking for extension of the period of ordinary leave.
2. In view of the above development, the petitioner has to necessarily surrender immediately after the expiry of the period and thereafter, work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
3. Except giving this liberty, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition.
