PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, to dispose of the case in DVC No.27 of 2018, in a speedy manner.

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, to dispose of the case in DVC No.27 of 2018, in a speedy manner. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the wife of 1st respondent and they are blessed with two children. According to the petitioner, the 1st respondent has the habit of drinking and attacked the 1st petitioner in Hockey stick. The family members of the 1st respondent are also torturing the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has filed D.V.O.P.No.27 of 2018 before the Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi in DVC No.27 of 2018 seeking for interim maintenance. The case was posted on 08.01.2021 for enquiry in Cr.M.P. Petition. Hence, the learned counsel would pray for early disposal of the above case.
3.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. Since no adverse order is going to be passed, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into consideration that the petitioner is a woman, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal District https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P(MD)No.14860 of 2020 Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in D.V.O.P.No.27 of 2018, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
