ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to release the petitioner's Mahindra and Mahindra light motor goods vehicle, bearing registration No.TN74 B2066, which was seized by the first respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the first respondent Police has registered a case, in Crime No.213 of 2015, under Section 102 Cr.P.C., and handed over the vehicle in question to the second respondent Tahsildar.

3. Taking into consideration the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to go in person and give a representation to the second respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order, and on such representation being given, the second respondent is directed to pass orders in accordance with law expeditiously.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
