ORDER

Seeking to direct respondents 1 to 4 to permit the petitioner to conduct the temple festival on 02.08.2026 and 03.08.2026 at Arulmigu Guruvachiammal Thirukovil, T.V.Renganathapuram, Andipatti Taluk, Theni District as per O.S.No.74 of 2011 on the file of District Munsif, Andipatti vide its judgment dated 19.11.2021 and judgment in A.S.No.11 of 2023 dated 09.02.2024 and to provide adequate police protection for peaceful conduct of the temple festival on 02.08.2026 and 03.08.2026, this writ petition is filed.

2. Since no adverse order is passed against the private respondent, notice to the private respondent is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is the Administrator of the subject temple. Already, a civil decree is in favour of the petitioner and by the strength of the same, he seeks the indulgence of this Court to permit him to conduct temple festival on 02.08.2026 and 03.08.2026. In this regard, he had made a representation to the respondents. The same is not considered. Hence, this writ petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the representation will be considered.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

6. The 4th respondent is directed to put the petitioner as well as the 5th respondent on notice under Section 64 BNSS and the petitioner is directed to produce the decree in his favour. Thereafter, the 4th respondent police is directed to make sure that the 5th respondent is not hindering in the conduct of the temple festival and further directed to afford necessary police protection on payment of necessary charges in terms of GO.Ms.No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019 for the temple festival to be conducted on 3/5
