O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2020 and to grant incentive for the petitioner's Master Education in M.Phil., (Registration No.2082210) completed in Pondicherry University on the basis of the petitioner's aforesaid representation within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/3
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner joined the service in a fourth respondent School as B.T. Assistant (Physical Education) on 27.01.2020. The petitioner has completed his M.Ed., and M.Phil in Pondicherry University, which is a Central Government recognized University. As per G.O. (Ms)No.98, School Education (M1) Department, dated 09.05.2008, the petitioner is entitled to get incentive for his higher education namely Master Degree in M.Phil (Physical Education). In this regard, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 on 19.11.2020. However, till date, the said representation was not considered by the respondents. Hence, without any other options, the petitioner approached this Court by way of this writ petition for appropriate direction.
3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would fairly submit that the representation of the petitioner's will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law.
4.In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2020 and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law.
5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
