ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the first respondent police, for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 465 & 468 of IPC, in connection with Crime No.645 of 2020 seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Today (16.09.2022), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that the case registered in Crime No.645 of 2020 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD)No.14878 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kalaiyarkovil Police Station, Sivagangai has been transferred to the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Department, Sivagangai, as per order of this Court in W.P (MD) No.9694 of 2020 and WMP(MD) No.8701 of 2020, dated 23.12.2020 and registered in Crime No.3 of 2021, dated 09.03.2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 13(1)(c),13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act,1988 and Sections 406, 420 and 120(b) IPC.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to file fresh application for the offences alleged as against the petitioner in Crime No.3 of 2021.
