ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with the Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to complete the proceedings in his Na.Ka.No.9288/2018/A2 within the time stipulated.
2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Pandiya Rajan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that with regard to the wrong entry in the patta in respect of of the petitioner's ancestral agricultural property bearing Survey No.88/1 situated at Nagamanayakkanur, Kaithiyankottai Village, Kuvakapatti (P.O.), Vedasendur Taluk, Dindigul District, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 05.10.2018. Considering the same, the first respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.9288/2018/A2 had conducted enquiry on three occasions and the petitioner produced all the relevant documents and the other side to the proceedings were irregular. W.P.(MD) No.18580 of 2020 enquiry was conducted by the first respondent as early as on 14.11.2019, no further order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition. 4.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the first respondent is directed to complete the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.9288/2018/A2, at the earliest.

In view of the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to complete the proceedings initiated in Na.Ka.No.9288/2018/A2 and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment to do so.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
