ORDER
Seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to expedite and conclude the enquiry based on the petitioner's complaint dated 03.01.2026 and 19.01.2026, this writ petition is filed.
2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that the complaint of the petitioner has been received and enquiry has also been conducted and the same was closed recording the written statement given by the petitioner that he would resolve the dispute with the proposed accused in the appropriate civil forum.
3. Per contra, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was compelled to give written statement before the respondent police and pursuant to which, he had further given a complaint to the 1st responder.
4. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that they have not received any current paper.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to reopen the petitioner's complaint and to put the petitioner as well as the proposed accused on notice under Section 64 BNSS and after giving an opportunity of hearing to both the parties, conclude the enquiry within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. 18.06.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No gbg TO:- 1.The Superintendent of Police, Tuticorin District, Tuticorin.
