This matter is listed today under the caption for extension of time.
2. It is evident from the records that this Court vide order, dated 16.03.2023, directed the learned I Additional District Judge, Madurai, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.98 of 2021, within a period of 15 months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Subsequently, at the requisition of the learned Additional District Judge, time was extended for 8 months vide, 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
Tr.C.M.P(MD)No.464 of 2022 order, dated 16.10.2024 and subsequently, time was extended for six months, vide order, dated 19.08.2025.
3. Now, the learned I Additional District Judge, Madurai, submitted a requisition, dated 18.03.2026, seeking three months further time.
4. Considering the reasons assigned, this Court is inclined to grant three months further time.
5. Accordingly, the learned I Additional District Judge, Madurai, is hereby directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.190 of 2023 (O.S.No.98 of 2021), within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
