ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to conduct enquiry and take necessary action to cancel the patta numbers 2116, 2117, 2136 and 1470 pertains to survey number 456/14B and 456/14D, Ammanpatti Village, Velanoroni Panchayat, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District and restore joint patta in the name of petitioner by considering petitioner's representation data 20.05.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, the subject property is an ancestral property. Originally the patta stood in the name of petitioner's grandfather Irulandi Thevar in Patta No.888. During UDR updation, Join Patta was issued in the name of petitioner's father Arjun and one
Muniasamy in Patta No.1470. Subsequently, based on the order passed by the fourth respondent, the subject property was subdivided and portion of the property was issued patta in the name of one Omathurai and his son Sakthi Sivaraman. Therefore, petitioner submitted a written representation seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of Omathurai and Sakthi Sivaraman and restoration of joint patta in the name of petitioner's father in patta No.1470. The said representation has not been considered. Hence the petitioner has come before this Court.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents would submit representations submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with the law.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, co-pattathars and above mentioned Omaithurai and Sakti Sivaraman.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
