Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conclude the enquiry in CSR.No.113 of 2020, dated 14.03.2020 pending on the file of the second respondent within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conclude the enquiry in CSR.No.113 of 2020, dated 14.03.2020 pending on the file of the second respondent.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reiterated the contentions set out in the original petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would state that the petitioner has lodged a written complaint for recovery of his Maruti Ertiga Car bearing Registration No.TN 01 BD 3691 and also to take appropriate action against the Offenders, before the Sub Inspector of Police, Perumalpuram Police Station, Tirunelveli in CSR.No.113 of 2020, dated 14.03.2020. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the complaint has been given and CSR No.113 of 2020 dated 14.03.2020 was given to him, but so far no action was taken and hence, he is before this Court. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate.

W .P.(MD)No.18594 of 2020 Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to conduct an enquiry in CSR.No.113 of 2020, dated 14.03.2020, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the accused persons and if any criminal offence is made out, the respondent police shall take appropriate action in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
