ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the enquiry on a complaint given by the petitioner dated 29.10.2022 and 03.07.2023.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that one Samuel has been practicing as a medical Doctor and presented injections and medicine, as if he is an allopathy doctor. It is further submitted that Samuel is not qualified to administer allopathy medicine and he is only working as an assistant under a compounder. Thereby sought for a direction to take appropriate action.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that the said Samuel is a Homeopathy Doctor and filed a photo copy of certificate stated to have been given by the Tamilnadu 2/4

Homeopathy Medical Council / Government of Tamil Nadu and as per the said certificate, his qualification has shown as a registered medical practitioner registered under Section 15(1)(b) of the Act. He further requests two weeks time to complete the enquiry.

4. The same is recorded. The respondent police are directed to enquire in detail basing on the certificate presented to the police by the said Samuel and complete the investigation within a period of two week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
