PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.123 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused rank not known, who was arrested on 17.10.2022 for the alleged offence under Sections 8(c) r/w. 20(b)(ii)(C), 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.123 of 2022, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail. 1/4

2.The case of the prosecution is that based on the secret information received, the respondent Police conducted an inspection at Kalapanpatti near cement water tank at 6.00 a.m., on 07.10.2022. On seeing the Police, the accused persons ran away from the scene of occurrence and the Police apprehended A1 and A2 and seized two gunny bags of 24 kg Ganja.

3.At that time of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he would be satisfied with the direction to the trial Court to expedite the above said trial process.

4. Considering the submission made by the petitioner, without going into merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the Principal Special Court for trial of NDPS Act Cases, Madurai, to complete the trial process within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
