The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to dispose the 1/4
appeal pending on the file of the first respondent in Oo.Mu.A2/0992/2025, dated 12.3.2025.
2.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent. By consent of both parties,the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the Petitioner, the second respondent obtained patta in respect of the property in S.F.No.72/1A5 by producing invalid documents. The Petitioner claims right over the subject property on the ground that his grand-father purchased the property in the year 1972. Aggrieved by the issuance of patta in favour of the second respondent, the Petitioner submitted an appeal before the first respondent seeking cancellation of the same. The said appeal has not been considered till date. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.
4.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the first respondent would submit that the appeal filed by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the Petitioner, dated 12.03.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing notice to the Petitioner and second respondent within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
