This petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Trichy, to dispose the C.C.No.2634 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the first accused in C.C.No.2634 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Trichy. In this case, charge has been framed in the year 2021 and thereafter, trial was not commenced. Hence, he filed a petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the case was posted on 26.08.2022 for examination of prosecution witnesses.

3.A perusal of Court diary shows that in this case, charge has been framed on 22.01.2021 and thereafter, the case was periodically posted for prosecution evidence and so far, trial is not commenced. Now, the case was posted on 26.08.2022 for examination of prosecution witnesses. 4.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Trichy, is directed to complete the trial and dispose of C.C.No.2634 of 2019, within a period of four 2/4

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
