PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to direct the II Additional District Judge, PCR Court, Tirunelveli, to consider the petitioner's bail application on the same day of his surrender in Cr.No.199 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the sixth accused in crime No.199 of 2026, on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction as against the trial Court to accept the surrender and consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender.

2. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the II Additional District Judge, PCR Court, Tirunelveli, to accept the surrender and consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender in crime No.199 of 2026, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.

3. The petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Court on or before 02.07.2026.

4. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
