ORDER

Mr.R.Anandaraj, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the experience of the petitioner as Technical Assistant for three years in the Department and give preference to the petitioner while recruiting personnel for the Posts call for in the respondent's advertisement No.1/2014, dated 22.12.2014.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the respondent, who is the Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee had called for the Post of Technical Assistant on contractual basis in the month of November, 2012. The petitioner applied and got

selected for the said Post. The work is on contract basis for a period of one year. It is stated in the affidavit that the petitioner is continuing his duty as Technical Assistant with clean records. While so, the respondent vide his advertisement No.1/2014, dated 22.12.2014 called for the Posts of Forester and Field Assistant. As the petitioner is working as Technical Assistant(TBGP) in that project, he desires that the experience he has gained to be considered by the respondent. The petitioner wants to give weightage to the experience that he has gained. To that effect, he has made a representation, dated 06.02.2016 before the respondent and the same is still pending. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the above stated relief.

5. The petitioner had applied for the said Post pursuant to the advertisement, dated 22.12.2014. Now he is seeking a direction from this Court directing the respondent to consider the experience of the petitioner as Technical Assistant for three years in the Department and to give preference to him while recruiting for the Posts as mentioned in advertisement, dated 22.12.2014.

6. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondent informs this Court that as the advertisement itself is dated 22.12.2014, the process would have been completed by now and he is not very sure whether the process is completed as on date or not.

In any event, if the process of recruitment pursuant to the advertisement No.1/2014, dated 22.12.2014 is not completed and if the application of the petitioner is in order and otherwise he is eligible for the said Post, the respondent is directed to consider the experience of the petitioner that he has gained in the same Department, subject to the relevant records to the recruitment process, based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.02.2016.

With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
