ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a direction to the 3rd respondent and his employees not to interfere with the petitioner's leasehold rights to collect entry fee in the weekly cattle market in Manapparai Municipality, granted vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3095/2023/A2, dated 31.03.2024, by the 3rd respondent, otherwise than by due process of law, till the completion of the lease period, i.e., 31.03.2027, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2025, and for other consequential reliefs. 2/4

2. The petitioner seeks an injunction restraining the authorities from conducting any enquiry, even with regard to the alleged misuse of the licence. Such a prayer, in the considered view of this Court, amounts to an abuse of process of law.

3. Therefore, this Court does not find any merit in this Writ Petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
