PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the 1st respondent to direct 2nd respondent to give necessary police protection to the petitioner and her family members for their life and limbs by considering the petitioner representations dated 04/01/2023, 13/02/2023 and 27/04/2023, 13/07/2023 within the period stipulated by this Court. Side) :Mr.S.Sundarapandian for R3 :Mr.K.Suresh Kumar for R8 to R16 O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to direct 2nd respondent to give necessary police protection to the petitioner and her family members for their life and limbs by considering the petitioner representations dated 04/01/2023, 13/02/2023 and 27/04/2023, 2/5

13/07/2023 within the period stipulated by this Court. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner a case was registered in Crime No.414 of 2022. After the investigation it was found that it was not a genuine case, hence, closed. Later only the above said representation has been made. According to him, there is no life threat to the petitioner at the hands of the private respondents. It is a issue between the parties over the property.

3.Let the above said representation that was made by the petitioner dated 13.07.2023 be enquired and disposed of by the respondent police within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by summoning the petitioner as well as the counter parties and also by finding out the ground situation. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the parties shall workout their remedies through appropriate proceedings. 3/5

4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
