Pinaygash, Counsel for the State of Tamilnadu Prayer: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2026 and issue Patta in respect of the property to an extent of 1920 Sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.395/5 situated at Kuthiraikulam Village, Kayathar Taluk, Thoothukudi District, within a time frame fixed by this Court. 1/4

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2026 and issue Patta in favour of the petitioner within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2026, after issuing notice to the petitioner and to the rival claimants/objectors, if any, and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
