PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.2 to conduct a preliminary inquiry based on the petitioner's complaint dated 15.06.2023 within stipulated time.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to respondent No.2 Police to dispose of the representation given by the petitioner dated 15.06.2023.

2. It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that one Balasubramaniam is in live in relation with the petitioner's daughter and they 1/4

are residing separately. On account of which, the petitioner is taking care of her grandson. The petitioner whenever appears before the Welfare Officer along with her grandson, the petitioner's daughter would come there to see her son, at that time, the said Balasubramaniam, who has been living with the petitioner's daughter has been creating lot of trouble and tried to interfere with the Welfare Officer. Aggrieved by the same, an application had been filed before the Respondent and sought for disposal of the same.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that they will dispose of the representation given by the petitioner against Balasubramanian dated 15.06.2023 shortly.

4. On hearing both sides and on perusal of the record, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to dispose of the representation within two (2) weeks.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
