O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in the complaints dated 16.06.2022 and 25.07.2022 to the fourth respondent and register the same by conducting enquiry in a fair manner.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is running a business in the name and style of Logitha Jewellers at Cumbum Town and he was married to one Sathya. In order to develop the business, he purchased land and started two shops and the petitioner allowed his wife to run the two shops. One Kodiarasan had approached the petitioner to provide a job for his son, namely, Abhishek and the petitioner has also provided the job to him. Taking advantage of the same, the said Abhishek developed a relationship with his wife and had stolen the jewels from his shop. The said Abhisek, his father and the petitioner's wife threatened the 2/5
petitioner and attacked him. Hence, the petitioner has made complaints before the respondents, however no action was taken. Therefore, this Writ Petition has been filed.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents Police submits that pursuant to the complaint given by the petitioner, F.I.R in Crime No.110 of 2022 was registered by the third respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 324, 323, 448, 109 and 506(2) IPC and the investigation will be completed in the manner known to law.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents Police, this Court directs the third respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.110 of 2022 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is directed to monitor the investigation conducted by the third respondent.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
