ORDER
The petitioner defacto complainant in Crime No.23 of 2021 has filed this petition for a direction to the respondent police to file the final report in the said case.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the case was registered on 27.11.2021 for the offence under Section 420 IPC, the respondent police closed it as mistake of fact and filed the report on 09.05.2022 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Trichy. Subsequently the petitioner has filed a protest petition in CrMP.No.35031 of 2022 and it has been allowed by ordering further investigation on 15.02.2023. However so far there is no progress. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.Considering the submission, this court has called for a report from the Deputy Superintendent of Police, DCB, Trichy and he has filed a report that there is a lapse on the part of the investigation officer and he has been warned and the final report would be filed within a period of two weeks. 4.Recording the above report, this petition is closed. 25-07-2025 DSK Internet:Yes
