ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's application, dated 25.11.2014 and grant the R.O., dealership in favour of the petitioner.
2. The petitioner had applied for R.O., dealership under scheduled caste category to be located at Azhagiyamandapam, Thiruvithanmcode Road, Kanyakumari District. He has also paid necessary charges by way of demand draft. On 17.08.2015, the respondent sent a communication to the petitioner calling upon him to revalidate the demand draft within seven days. It was done by the petitioner. Again on 21.08.2015. another communication was sent to the petitioner for furnishing the land document and degree certificate and the same was also furnished by the petitioner. Thereafter, one another communication was issued by the respondent on 22.12.2015 wherein, it was mentioned that the Land Evaluation Committee (LEC) of the respondent would visit the site on 08.01.
2016 and directed the petitioner to be present at the site with relevant land document and also the photo identity. However, no-one from the respondent office had turned up. The petitioner was waiting in vain for the respondent to inspect the site. Therefore, on 14.01.2016, the petitioner had sent a letter to the respondent asking them to come again and to inspect the site to enable him to get the dealership. But till date, there was no response from the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the above stated relief.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 25.11.2014 based on the letter sent by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner, dated 14.01.2016 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
