O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to lift the blocking of the petitioner's Saving Bank Account bearing Account No.63622020000172 maintained with the Canara Bank, Koothur Branch, Tiruchirapalli District, forthwith to enable her to withdraw the terminal benefits and pension amount.

2. It is now brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Bank that the block in respect of the aforesaid bank account of the petitioner has now been lifted and the petitioner is allowed to operate her bank account. It is also represented that the petitioner had already withdrawn the terminal benefits, which were lying in the credit of the aforesaid bank account.

3. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has now been achieved. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
