waving the lease amount for the lockdown period or by extending the license period in regard to collection of toll fee in the weekly market of the second respondent municipality in the light of the order passed by this Court in a similar case in W.P(MD)No.1439 of 2021 dated 29.01.2021 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the second respondent herein, wherein the licence granted to the writ petitioner stood cancelled.

2.A perusal of the records reveals that the petitioner was granted a licence to collect toll fees in the weekly market for the period from 01.04.2020 to 31.03.2023. Due to non-payment of the auction amount, the licence granted to the writ petitioner has been cancelled. 2/4

3.Considering the fact that the said period has already expired, nothing survives to be adjudicated in this writ petition. 4.This Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
