This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.1 to provide GPF Advance Amount to the petitioner from his GPF Account No.EDN/126260 and to issue a copy of previous GPF advance amount proceedings of February 2021 in light of Rule 14 of The General Provident Fund (Tamil Nadu) Rules by considering the representation dated 11.09.2021 made by the petitioner.
2. According to the petitioner, he is working as B.T.Assistant (Tamil) in the third respondent school. The petitioner made a representation on 11.09.2021, seeking to provide GPF Advance Amount and also issue a copy of the previous GPF advance amount proceedings of February 2021 in the light of Rule 14 of The General Provident Fund (Tamil Nadu) Rules. WP(MD) No.18146 of 2021 petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
3. The learned Standing Counsel for State takes notice on behalf of the respondents and would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with the Rules.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.09.2021, on its own merits and pass orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
