This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4 to provide police protection for measuring the land in Survey No.52, Plot No.59 belonging to the petitioner, which was given as free housing patta by the Government.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was given Plot No.59 in Survey No.52 by the Government and he has requested the Tahsildar to conduct survey the plot on which learned Tahsildar by order dated 22.05.2023 and dated 02.06.2023 seeking Police protection, but, the Police have not provided the Police protection and thereby, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 27.06.2023. But, even then, there was no response.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) fairly submits that on that dates when the Police protection sought for measuring the house site, the concerned Police were busy, on other duty in respect of the Chithirai festival at Madurai and he has submitted that the police are prepared to provide the police protection as sought for by the petitioner. 2/4
4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is, disposed of, with a direction to the respondent Nos.3 and 4 Police to provide police protection to the Tahsildar for measuring the plot of the petitioner.
