Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the 8th respondent from running illegal mining operation in S.F.Nos.33/3, 33/1A and 34/1B, situated at Manamettupatti, Esanatham Village, Aravakuruchi Taluk, Karur District and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 6 to initiate appropriate action against the 8th respondent, based upon the representation given by the petitioner dated 10.07.2024.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 14.07.2024 after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the eight respondent herein and dispose of the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
