Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the first respondent State Government to consider and pass orders forthwith

on the petitioner's memorandum, dated 16.12.2015 together with the reminder, dated 25.02.2016 seeking for recognising the petitionerschool as a Christian Religious Minority Educational Institution. 4.The petitioner-school run by a Society was established in the year 1959 and more than 2746 students are studying in the school. For the purpose of obtaining certificate regarding the status as a Minority Institution, the school submitted a memorandum, dated 16.12.2015 along with all necessary documents to the first respondent State Government through proper channel viz., the second respondent and the third respondent. The third respondent had also directed the school to send three more copies of the memorandum, which was also immediately furnished by the petitioner. However, there was no response from the respondents. Hence, a reminder was also sent by the petitioner on 25.02.2016. As there was no response, the present Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to consider the memorandum filed by the petitioner-school.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the official respondents had no objection for granting the relief as sought for by the petitioner.

6. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the memorandum submitted by the petitioner, dated 16.12.2015 and the reminder dated 25.02.2016, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
