ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to issue the transfer order for the petitioner from Panchayat Union Middle School, Rajagobalapuram, Thiruchuli Union, Virudhunagar District to 5th respondent school 2/6
pursuant to the transfer counselling held on 23.07.2024 by considering the E.mail request made by the petitioner dated 25.07.2024.
2. Heard Mr.Sc.Herold Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.Amjad Khan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4. The petitioner who had chosen the 5th respondent school during transfer counselling held on 23.07.2024 is yet to receive orders. Hence, he has filed this writ petition seeking direction against the respondents 1 to 4.
5. Even according to the learned Government Advocate, the facts stated by the petitioner that he had allotted his transfer option exercise to choose the fifth respondent school is correct, but due to some technical glitch, the orders have not yet been issued. 3/6
6. If no order is passed, then the petitioner would doubt whether the above place might be offered to some one else.
7. Since the respondents also concealed the fact that the petitioner had also opted 5th respondent school during counselling, the second respondent is directed to issue consequential transfer orders to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 01.08.2024 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No RM 4/6
