The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent has issued patta Nos.2718, 5994, 1851 and 1852 in favour of the fourth respondent/the brother of the petitioner alone during the UDR scheme, omitting the petitioner and other legal heirs of the deceased Subramaniyam, the father of the petitioner. Hence, he has submitted an application before the District Revenue Officer on 16.07.2021 and he has filed this writ petition that his application submitted in the year 2021 has not been considered. The petitioner has also sent a reminder on 15.04.2023.

2.Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that an enquiry on the petitioner's representation is still pending and it would be concluded within a period of twelve weeks.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader and also considering the fact that the application of the petitioner is pending from the year 2021, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to conclude the enquiry and pass necessary orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. 17.07.2023 NCC : Yes / No.
