(Order of this Court was made by Hon'ble THE CHIEF JUSTICE) After hearing learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent authorities, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the District Collector, Karur, to treat this writ petition as representation of the petitioner for setting up a play field for children in Survey No.3 of Padugai Poromboke land at Kulithalai Revenue Village and take a decision thereon in accordance with law keeping in mind the needs of the children for play field, within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. No costs.
