O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2026.
2. Heard Mr.S.Selva Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Ramasamy, learned Counsel for the State, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.
3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the newly laid concrete road in R.C. Church Street, Kavalakurichi Village, is not fit for use. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 10.03.2026 requesting the authorities to rectify the defects in the newly laid cement concrete road. However, the said representation has not been considered till date. Aggrieved by 2/5
the inaction of the authorities, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.
5. The learned counsel would further submit that the petitioner would be satisfied if this Court issues a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2026 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.03.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
