ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue patta in UDR Survey No.146/6 situated at Kampiliyampatti Village, Vadamadurai Subdivision, Dindigul East, Dindigul District in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.P.Manikandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.The petitioner claimed to have purchased a property in Survey No.146/6 situated at Kampiliyampatti village, Vadamadurai Subdivision, Dindigul East, Dindigul District by a registered document No.1071 of 2019 on 14.03.2019 and after purchasing the property, he made an application on 12.06.2019 to the 2nd respondent to issue patta in his name and if the said application is decided by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.18622 of 2019 the 2nd respondent on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied. 4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said application of the petitioner dated 12.06.2019 made by the petitioner would be decided by the 2nd respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
5.Having regard to the said factual matrix of the case and taking into account the innocuous nature of the prayer sought for herein, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction:
"The 2nd respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
