ORDER

Heard Mr.B.Prahalad Ravi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2015 for re-fixation of the petitioner's salary conferring Special Grade in Grade- I in the post of Milk recorder and for promotion to the post of Deputy Manager (Dairy).

3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.12.2015, is directed to be disposed of by the respondent within a stipulated time.

4.In view of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.12.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
