Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of death certificate. The petitioner's mother passed away in the year 2005. The first respondent is the authority competent to consider the petitioner's request. The petitioner has given application in this regard. 3.The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition's application on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
